Dr. Mintra Sattam

Optometrist 

Dr. Mintra Sattam grew up in Houston and has chosen to be a part of the growing East End community. Dr. Sattam received bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and biology at the University of Texas at Austin and a doctor of optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She completed specialty training through externships in cataract and refractive surgery co-management, contact lenses, and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. During her training, she was elected to the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society. As a primary eye care provider, Dr. Sattam conducts comprehensive eye exams, treats common vision problems, red eyes, and offers management of ocular diseases.

Efrain brings 15+ years of experience from management of full service optical labs and optical retail offices. He comes to us from Arlington, TX but has loved living in Houston since he first moved here in 2015. In the East End, he has really felt at home and looks forward to serving the community. He prides himself in providing the very best experience for each person he helps with their eyewear. His passion is people and it shows when he interacts with his customers.

I am eager to build a strong relationship with the community here and take care of all of their eyewear needs. One visit with me and you won’t want to see any other optician in this industry!”
